Patricia Stein is a professional artist and trained Conservation Technician. Since the turn of the century, Patricia has rendered unique decorative finishes and created hand painted designs on multi surfaces for clients throughout the U.S.
She has restored works of art in public buildings, private residences and religious structures. In collaboration with other trained artists, restoration companies and our National Park Service, Patricia adheres to the strict guidelines established by the American Institute of Conservation (AIC). This field of work requires both artistic aptitude and scientific expertise in chemistry, two areas that Patricia is incredibly passionate about.
She is dedicated to ensuring artistic integrity and proper execution in conserving works of art to preserve our nation’s cultural heritage.
When not working on restoration projects, Patricia spends a majority of time on Decorative Painting projects; creating unique custom faux finishes, life size murals, stenciling, hand painting furniture, refinishing cabinetry or rendering fine art on canvas. Patricia is continually striving to improve her skill and technique through formal education and apprenticeship.
