Patricia is a professional artist and trained Conservation Technician. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Management from Columbia College and is currently pursuing graduate study. Since the turn of the century, Patricia has rendered unique decorative finishes and created hand painted designs for clients throughout the U.S.
She has restored works of art in public buildings, private residences and religious structures. In collaboration with other trained artists, restoration companies and our National Park Service, Patricia adheres to the strict guidelines established by the American Institute of Conservation (AIC). This field of work requires both artistic aptitude and scientific expertise in chemistry, two areas that Patricia is incredibly passionate about. She is dedicated to ensuring artistic integrity and proper execution in conserving works of art to preserve our nation’s cultural heritage.
When not working on restoration projects, Patricia spends a majority of time on Decorative Painting projects; creating unique custom faux finishes, life size murals, stenciling, hand painting furniture, refinishing cabinetry, hanging high end Wall coverings or rendering fine art on canvas. Patricia also teaches Business Classes to creative individuals and runs a training studio for Decorative and Fine Arts. She is continually striving to improve her skill and technique through formal education and apprenticeship.
